Roof Trusses

Roof trusses are versatile, cost-effective and convenient. They determine the shape of the roof and ceiling while providing support for the roof. Trusses are pre-engineered in our factory using lightweight materials and are shipped to the construction site. Roof trusses put pressure on the outside structure of the building instead of the inside bearing walls, enabling greater design freedom.

Trusses are made up of three main parts:

Top chords
Bottom chords (also known as I-joists or ceiling joists)
Webbing/posts

ENGINEERED FLOOR SYSTEMS

Engineered Floor Trusses

We offer trusses, LVLs and I-joists for your flooring projects. Engineered floor trusses are an assembly of top and bottom chords separated by diagonal braces. Floor trusses are used when you need a higher load-bearing capacity compared to simple floor joists. LVL (laminated veneer lumber) is considered to be a highly reliable building material that provides many of the same attributes associated with large-sized timbers. Because it is compatible with I-joist floor framing, residential builders and building designers like the combination of I-joist and LVL when it comes to their engineered floor assemblies.

Floor Joist & Rim Joist

We carry Pinkwood joists. They use proprietary grade flanges and come in six series with residential joist depths of 9-1/2” to 16”, and commercial joists depths of 18” to 24”. In addition, they are shipped with a pink moisture sealer to protect the joists against moisture-related end-checking and moisture absorption. Our joists can handle all your I-joist needs.
